If your school is considering investing in a new website you must make sure that you cross your T's and dot your I's when it comes to Ofsted requirements.
Having a check list will ensure you don't overlook any important information on your new website build like:
- Admission Arrangements
- Ofsted Reports
- Exam and Assessment Results
- Values and Ethos
- Charging and Remissions Requirements
- Pupil Premium Strategy
- School Complaints procedure
BEYOND THE REQUIREMENTS
Beyond what is required by law there is some very useful information that you should consider including on your school website. Information that can help to market your school as well as improve your communication with the local community, parents and pupils. Information and functionality such as:
- Promotional Videos
- Head Teacher's Blog
- Social Media Feeds
- Events Calendar
WHY YOUR CMS IS SO IMPORTANT
With Ofsted making updates on an ongoing basis, it's important that your school website be backed by a strong CMS. The ability for your site administrators to update content quickly and easily will mean that your school will always be compliant with the latest Ofsted regulations.
